For Graph Theory, I'd recommend looking at an algorithms textbook (CLRS's Introduction to Algorithms is really good), and perhaps going through this Coursera class and it's sequel.

At the end of the day, if you want a deeper understanding of algorithms you're going to have to learn some of the more theoretical concepts, and read one of the classics, like Cormen/Leiserson/Rivest/Stein's Introduction to…

I would recommend against "Algorithm Design Manual" for your purposes and for skimming Cormen or Wikipedia instead.

Muito obrigado pelas recomendações, eu e meu colega conseguimos terminar o projeto mas irei continuar estudando esse conteúdo; por um breve momento eu quase recorri ao livro do Cormen para entender melhor essas estruturas.

O livro "Introduction to Algorithms" de Cormen et al é outra excelente escolha, conhecido por ser mais acessível do que o livro de Knuth.
